Tina's Hintergrund

Z-Health(R) Practitioner / NeuroathletiK-Trainer

Tina is a former competitive weightlifter, CrossFitter, and continues playing competitive volleyball. Born in Canada, she founded her gym Black Box Athletics (Cologne, Germany) in 2013 and leads the gym as CEO and head coach.

After coming into contact with neuro-athletics as an athlete and experiencing the outstanding results in her own training, Tina began her Z-Health studies with Dr. Eric Cobb in 2014. Dr. Cobb, the founder of Z-Health, integrated neuroscientific findings into athletic training and thus developed the neuro-centric holistic training system Z-Health. Tina was one of the first trainers in Europe to complete the entire Z-Health curriculum.

As a Z-Health Master, she organized the first Z-Health course in Germany.

While Dr. Cobb and Lars Lienhard, the leading neuro-athletics trainer in Germany, are her mentors, she relies on her extensive education and her own diverse experience when successfully coaching professional athletes from weightlifting, American football, ice hockey, Judo, Tennis, Skeleton, Hurdling, Soccer, Handball, and CrossFit.

With her neuro-centric methods, she is also helping clients with severe health conditions such as survivors of strokes, concussions, brain tumors, spinal surgery, and individuals with chronic diseases such as Parkinson and MS to recover or improve their quality of life.

Based on her diverse experience, she has developed the neuro-functional training concept Kraftletics, which integrates neuro-centric drills into functional training for small groups.
Her acquired knowledge and observing the significant impact of neuro-centric methods shifted her mindset and beliefs about effective training. To align her training methods to her new knowledge and values, Tina completely re-designed her well-running CrossFit-Box into the first gym in Germany that offers neuro-centric functional training. Using her creativity, she developed a variety of exercises with increased benefits for the athletes. During this transformational process, she mastered the skill of creating diversified Kraftletics session programs that integrate seamlessly neuro-centric approaches into conventional functional training. The smart session design provides intense workouts within a playful atmosphere.
